Dr.Myrick is the founder of melanatedandeducated.com, a space focused on sharing uplifting and engaging stories about the Black experience in the word today. These stories serve as counternarratives to the mainstream stories shared in the word. His first self-published book, Dear Black Dads: Wisdom for your Journey to Fatherhood, is a labor of love to all the Black fathers who are striving to create change for their families.
As a father, husbae, brother, and leader, Dr.Myrick is always searching for an opportunity to tell stories that influences the world. In addition to serving his family and community, Dr.Myrick is a higher education scholar practitioner who strives to create access for those from underrepresented population. He's has won multiple awards for his work focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion and continues to challenge systems of injustice. In his spare time, ha's loving on his family, servicing his local community, writing, journaling, and reading. Dr.Myrick Lives with his family in sunny California.
